Clad to be here

I hope I can figure out how to GB this unit. I live in Maryland and not sure if I will have to. I already have Umax Gold and a Compadre which neither have GB and work just fine.

Ground balancing is easy, just read the manual and if you have problems just post here. Ground balancing will give you the extra depth and the Vaquero is a great machine!

Ground balancing is easy. I had a little trouble at 1st because I had the threshold barely humming. Its easier amped up a little bit , at about the 1 o'clock position.

Just as the others said, very easy. After you do it once or twice you will have it done in seconds. The V is a pleasure to use.

Well? How did it go?

Incidentally, I wonder how many Vaqs Tesoro sold this week.

I recieved it on Friday and took it out in the back yard. I only dug trash because I already hunted out my yard with my other MD. I didnt GB it yet because I didnt have much time. It ran quiet the whole so Im not sure if I need GB here in Maryland. Its suppose to rain all weekend here.If it doesnt rain Im going to take it to the school I graduated from and see how it does. The school has been there since the 50s.

You will love it once you understand her language. Had mine for a couple weeks now and its great. Hit my backyard, again, and pulled a 2000 (year) dime with a strong signal from 7 - 8 inches down.
How the heck can a dime only 12 years old get down so deep.. I sure don't know.

Enjoy the V. take time and listen to it. Joe

I took it out on Saturday and dug more trash than I ever have. I had the disc set at below nickel. If I set it on nickle then I risk loosing gold jewelry. I wish they would make a V with tones.
