Alain at XP Deus wrote this on Dec 9th roughly translated it says 4.1 will be released in a few days and the version on his site is the final one and will be renamed as final in a few days and posted. His post is on second page near the bottom in the link.

When will be available an official update 4.1?


La version beta 4.1b que vous avez en tête de ce post est la dernière, elle fonctionne bien, nous la mettrons en ligne sur la page DEUS UPDATE dans quelques jours.
N'hésitez pas à nous remonter tout problème de fonctionnement.

The members of the technical forum who wish to test the evolutions brought by the V4.1 (beta) can do it thanks to this link:

The improvements in 4.1 focus on the radio link, but do not change the processing of the actual detection signal. Here is the list of patches:

- Improvement of the radio link between the MI-6 pinpointer and the DEUS. The connection is more efficient and faster, even in the DEUS WS4 version (DEUS controlled by the headset).

- Added a TRACKING SENS menu in SOL> EXPERT.
This new function acts on the efficiency of the automatic Tracking of the soil. It makes it possible to adjust the capacity to track soils according to their intensity and to ignore them if the strength of the mineralization is weak.

When the soil has a low intensity (ex: 2 or 4 digits on the digestion bar graph), lowering the value of the ground effect (ex: 90 to 70) generates false signals unnecessarily, so it is pity that tracking you track these floors.

Adjusting the Tracking Sens to a low level will then limit the false signals as the detector will remain on a default ground effect setting of 90. It will only track if the ground becomes strong enough that it is worthwhile to reduce the ground effect value.
As soon as the soil is sufficiently mineralized Tracking will then start tracking the ground automatically and adjust the ground value again.
I advise you not to put the Tracking Sense too high, stay rather to 1 to 3.
And use Tracking only if you are an expert, otherwise leave your ground effects in Manual 87/90!

- Fix connection of a single helmet with the detection disc (lite version). Sometimes the drive could restart several times before taking the link with the headset.

- The Go-Detect smartphone application that is under development will work with all remotes, even the oldest ones. Until now some remotes could not activate Go-Detect mode.

- + some other minor improvements on the static mode or the battery measure.

Note that HF ​​disks do not update for the moment.
