Very Sad News.......

Dropped some of my church bus kids off at the school this morning as they do not have transportation. The Principal called me into the office and told me that Nicole had just passed away. She was the young teacher who had thymus cancer. She had been doing well, with all the chemo, and had just went through surgery to remove the last of the tumor from her chest area. Was a total shock to hear that. Was not expecting that news, as her husband said she was doing well, and I had talked to Nicole and she said she was doing well and feeling much better. The Principal had not told any other of the staff as of 8:00am this morning. Her kids go to school at the school I work at and that is the school Nicole worked at. Her husband said he is sitting down as we speak to inform the kids of their mothers passing. Please pray for Todd her husband, and Hannah her daughter and her son Skylar. This was a very, very close knit family. The only reason Nicole went ahead with chemo and the surgery was because she said she had two kids to raise. This has not really hit home with me yet, and I know the staff at school will be in total shock too when the Principal makes the announcement this morning. Thank you for your prayers for Niclole in the past, and I know this is Gods' Will. Just pray for the family as they face this unexpected turn of events.

So sorry to hear and will be in prayer for the family! May God give them peace that passes all understanding and strength in His wonderful love and joy to endure and overcome in this sad trial! It is so difficult to lose a loved one and especially for the husband and children to lose a wife and mother! May Jesus wrap them in arms of love and be with them in their sorrow! Amen! Very somber mood when I got to work this afternoon. All of the teachers were in a state of shock as were some of the kids that knew Nicole. She passed away around midnight last night. The Principal said that the cancer had spread to her lungs, but I don't know what caused her to die so quickly. They had been removing fluid from her lungs and Todd thought that was a result of her surgery. He had not called back to the school as of 3:30pm. When I find out more I will pass it on. Thank you for your prayers and concern. This family reminded you of the Cleaver family from Leave it to Beaver. They were one great couple and family. God knows best.
