*Video* How to accept a new coil using just the Ws4 and Ws5 headphones

Thanks Gary. Another good video. It's always helpful to see someone do something first before you have to do it yourself.

Thanks for the video kinda skipped that section in the manual but I just bought 2 coils 9 and a 13.

When I use mutiple coils and change one will the headphones change automatically when I change the remote setting to match the new coil? thanks for the video.

Actually, yes. But headphones and remote need to be turned on.

A word of caution here to folks,,,using Deus lite setups.
If by chance you have had help, with someone who has a remote.., and programmed your slots with some good data,,,if you forget later on and for whatever reason pair your headphones with someone elses coil,, and they have a remote and turn it on---- your headphones will be programmed to the remote. Meaning your programs are bye bye.

Thanks for your messages guys, just a quick heads up when you use / own more than one coil, I see this so many times and fall for it myself.

You turn your machine on and get a lot of false signals and targets wont register.....dont panic !

The chances are you have the wrong coil selected in the menu and the selected coil is in your vehicle going crazy picking up all the metal.

does that mean that I dont have to program headphones too? if i put the serisl number in the remote does it adjust the headphones or do I have to setup headphones too ?

Both remote and headphone need to be married to coil,,, using serial number of coil.

Now after both are paired....the headphone module will contain the same program slot data as the remote. So if you say added a program in slot 13 using remote,, and the headphones were turned on. Then turn off remote,,lay it down. Pick up your Deus with remote and headphones with module,,, head to the field turn both on,,you will be able to see slots 1-10 on headphone module with data,, as well as data in slot 13.

Just remember,,, when looking at the headphone module slot info--- you are limited to what you can see. For example the reactivity and silencer settings won't be shown using just the headphone module.
