Video of my finds from the last couple hunts with the Vaquero

Since its snowy here in NY, I decided I would make a Video of some of my last finds for the year with the Vaquero. These were all found in the same spot. Recent Metal Detecting finds

I really enjoyed watching your video. Nice finds. The item with a '10' on it with a hole could be from a key chain to a room, safety deposit box or P.O. box. I've seen something like that before.

Thanks Tabman, I appreciate it. You could be right about that item with the 10 on it, especially since that F.W Corran token is most likely from a hotel. Good thinkin!

Bobby s

The heraldic eagle is fantastic, really like that one:thumbup:

Thanks guys, I'm really enjoying the finds. I like the eagle as well. Cleaning it up made it look soo much better

Really looking forward to spring

You are really cleaning up back there.Don't tell to many people around you. They will want in on some of the action when you keep showing up around there with old coins. You have a powerful metal detector.I hope you find some more around and post some more.I am trying to hunt more myself.Even if it's a walk to the duck pond park, there is always some fun coin hunting there.WTG Bobby :super:

Thanks Spritrelic!

Great video and some nice finds Bobby!

Hey Bob..nice finds bud

One thought for you...that 10 token. Around here in PA there was alot of mineing and such. The workers each had their own numbered tags and would get paid by
each cart they could fill. As they completed filling a small cart with stone, coal ect... they would place their numbered tag on the cart to show who filled it and would
get paid for it. I probably have a hundred or so of them in the house here somewhere...lol

Really like the eagle. You did a great job cleaning it up.

Keep going back there and HH

Thanks Gary, appreciate the input. That 10 token definitely has some mystery to it, but I'm glad I held onto it. And the eagle definitely did turn out a lot better, especially if you've seen the before picture. Once spring comes along, I'll be sure to be right out there goin at it again

All your responses were really appreciated..watching this video over again makes me realize how much my Vaquero really can do, even if i'm not always so positive about it. I still want to send it in so I can gain a sense of confidence back...2 years of giving it some hard use gives me good reason to want to get her looked at, but I never question what I know it can do
