Woolacombe beach in North Devon is one of our major surfing beaches. When conditions are right (winter storms) the beach can bring up one ring an hour.These are winter time photographs, the windchill factor is well below freezing!

This particular beach and one further down the coast was used by the US military to practice the second world war
