Now that I have your attention...

Max and all you VB guys & gals, I have been absent from this forum for a couple of years but suddenly have made plans to come out there and join the beach bunch for a few days. If any of you would care to let me know how to contact you once I get there I would appreciate it.

We will be stopping in Atlantic City the first part of next week to see some old friends then we'll try to hit Lewes MD for a day or two on Coin Beach, then head for VB. Expect to be there for the weekend of Oct 10 & 11. No rigid time table, we have to be home by the 15th.

I think the last time I planned to go to VB (Cancelled out at the last minute.), Max recommended we stay at a state park. Let me know if this is still the best place to stay. We'll be traveling with a 27' 5th wheel so we'll be looking for a campground location.

We will be leaving MIdland MIchigan Wednesday afternoon and will not have any regular access to internet or email. Please try to respond before that, if possible. I may be able to check mail while traveling if any campground has a "public" computer for me to use. I do carry a cell phone but am hesitant about posting my phone number on an open forum.

My CZ-20 was repaired last year and returned with the CZ-21 pinpoint button. I do not know if it was upgraded to a CZ-21 or if just the button was done or how I could tell the difference. This will be my first chance to use it since I got it back. Really looking forward to it.

South of the beach. When you are on Pacific Ave. go over the Rudee Inlet bridge and it turns into General Booth Blvd. and the campground is approximately 1 to 2 miles.

that place ina just told u about is big and real close to the beach

the place i told u about.............first landing state park.................is on the ches. bay.............nice also, but about 10 miles from ocean front

give us a call when u get down, hopefully some loot will show up. i went last night and was doing okay until the lightening and rain storm ran me off.

Didn't you used to go by another forum name? I do remember you always hunted the dry sand. Surprised you don't go by something like, "Lighter Gal." Do you do the wet sand and water line yet?

I am sure Fisher changed your unit to the CZ 21. That has been their practice, for better or for worse. They seem to be very close though I have not been able to keep my CZ 21's running for long and i seldom had a problem with a CZ 20. I have no use for either the CZ 21 pinpoint tough pad nor the old CZ 21 pinpoint button. Use auto tune position for quick, positive location if you are not experienced with simply looking or the water is dirty.
