I know this is a metal detecting site but I was wondering if anyone had a gun made in Virginia? Maybe from the Virginia Manufactory of Arms, Richmond Arsenal, or a local gunsmith from the 1800s? Would be interested in talking about them! I'm on the look out for a Jacob Schaffer rifle from Wythe County Va.
 
Sometime's you can find those type's of muzzleloader's on the Virginia Gun Trader website,.....i've seen some old gun's there before, but haven't looked in awhile...hope this help's!
