Our youth pastors mom and dad are in from Virginia for the weekend. Guess who may have some Civil War encampments sites available to hunt? Guess who may be going back out to Virginia this summer?

Answer to the question. Me and Me? or how about you and me?
I love digging CW stuff in VA. Summer is not the best time though. Spring and fall so you don't have bigs, snakes, and ivy!

Hey Mike, if we go, I will let you know. I know they got some mean rattlers out there. Maybe we can work it out for sometime in the Fall before the snow hits out there. Takes about 10 hours to get to their house in Lynchburg.

I have been out there about 10 times and have dug a ton of nice CW relics. I even have a site that I have standing permission.

I have never been relic hunting. I love history, so I could really get into doing a relic hunt. Was out there last July for vacation, but did not have time to stop and do any hunting.

on relic hunting very easy. If you are on a CW site, do not disc. Dig it all!

Yeah it is easy . I use all metal and dig everything over iron. I know I miss some things that are iron, but i can not dig that much.

Hey DK...If You Get Near Stafford, VA, Stop By & Say Hello To My Friends There. I'm Thinking of Going Down This Summer For a Week or So.
