Both my father, Lt. Col. David W. Morrill, USMC.:usmc: and his younger brother, Lt. Col. Merwin L. Morrill, USAF. :usaf:are there, along with many other American heros. They answered their country's call and gave all they had. They should not be forgotten!:usaflag::

Who lived in Calif. I met him while I was on vacation and he had been drafted but had not left for training---I was headed for Az. when I met him at Convict Flat on Highway 49 in Calif. he was spending some time nugget hunting before basic training---After I met him I went no father as I found we liked each other; So I spent my vacation with him hunting gold---When my vacation was over I came back to my job at I.P. and he went to Nam---We had a lot of plans on getting together when he got back---He never made it back alive but we wrote many letters to each other till he got Machine gunned 6 months after he got there---I met his parents and they gave me his dry washer after the funeral---I plan on meeting him again in a few years after I pass on and maybe we will be able to hunt nuggets again---When I saw his name listed it brought a few tears just like it did when I first saw his name on that wall a few years ago---Roger we will meet again in due time, See you then !

Thanks Rusty, You guys will never forget your fallen brothers!

Not sure Arlington has gone back and done pages for all the Vietnam casualties buried there, but they did a nice page for my Dad and his backseater when they were finally returned in 2001. My uncle was a West Point grad and he was buried there in 83.

If any of you know a buddy that was buried there, it's worth a Google search to see.
