VIRUS

Hi All,
Thanks to Gary and others on the Beach and Water Hunters Forum, I have just avoided a virus. The message I got was from a Nigel Clark and read,"Hi, how are you. I send you this file in order to have your advice". If you get a message like it, delete immediately and do not open the attachement. For further details see the thread starting on 25th July on the Beach Forum.
Eric.

It also comes in forign languges because the way it works is that it steals your address book and sends the virus to all on it.I have gotton 7 in 10 days all from different names.Fortunately, I have not opened any of the attachments. One even came from a mattress company, which means they opened it!Exactly what damage it does, I dont know. Chuck

Take note everyone. This virus is a really bad one. I immediately deleted the offending e-mail myself, but two friends have lost every file on their harddrives. According to the latest newspaper report the virus can also create bogus files, over 62,000 of them on one network. Be extra careful.
