I used small pull tabs, and a smaller 14kring yellow gold, with its 25Khz it hits that gold ring with a dig gable signal on 0 sense in boost two tone. but showed its lack on my 8" dime . so if you are looking for deep silver its not going to do so well but its real gift is the Gold and the brass. and of course aluminum. Amazing depth capabilities with low conductors. I was kinda shocked it couldn't reach at least an 8" dime. Still an impressive machine. I see you are sporting some white stuff on the ground....so far I haven't had any here. Although today, it feels cold enough for some to come down. Thanks for the video Gunnar. - Jim

And it might be Gunnar's soil conditions affecting the depth capabilities of the Vista Gold. I know he has some nasty soils.
He will have to clarify if that's the case.
I use the Super 6 (6x:geek: coil and it can hit my wedding band like Gunnar's at 9" in my soil.
Like most high frequency detectors they trade depth and sensitivity towards silver in favor of gold.
Think it hits silver rings better than the silver coins.
To get those deeper silver dimes, you may have to crank up the sensitivity to almost max, switch to turbo, toggle to slow and sweep much slower.
That will give the detector just a bit more time to hear the target so to speak.

Gunnars video is excellent showing folks how the Vista Gold reacts to gold rings. Which is one main reason I bought it, besides it loves Canadian clad coins.
Not to shabby finding small silver chains either.

Always look forward to Gunnar's next video(s)

Keep in mind - I am new to the vista Gold I am not shocked it has some trouble in my soil its got a lot of black sand I remember my Gold bug could badly hit a 5" dime and the Vista pounds it at 6" what is amazing to me is it keeps the high tone even at depth in this soil I don't let the dime bother me Cuz its really made for Gold and it does great . I found a small button in my hunted out yard. with it kids amazed me Jimmy its snowing now maybe 6" in the morning I should go south but it looks like they are getting hit hard in the south, Have to stay home . Sven Good to hear the super 6 gets good depth I have one of those coils on the way , just about the perfect size coil . have to get a bliss tool for the deep silver would love to get the V5 but its far above my income level . maybe the dollar will keep going up and the price will drop . anyway the Vista Gold will be homing in on the Gold coins and rings and any tokens and any silver dime in the 0- to 7" range

Just got the Super 6 . I was surprised this thing is small, see picture & the keys in the photo I will have to do a test on the 9" Gold ring soon , I would be surprised if a coil this small could hit a gold ring at 9" but we will see
