Vista Gold Super 6 Replacement arrived.

Just a follow-up regarding my faulty Super 6 search coil.
I just rec'd replacement after returning my coil to DeepTech.
Just had to tear open the box and attach it to my Gold to check it out.
Spent some time bench testing it to see what a Super 6 can do compared to the faulty coil.
Wow, like night and day. Fantastic in all three modes and boost works in them all.

in two-tone mode I can set the tone break that works perfect for locating Canadian clad coins on edge.
It produces a fast low tone with an immediate high tone. Found foil rejection in disc mode was more than enough for my hunting style.
You can reject a small thin ladies 10kt gold ring about 5 segments before full stop on the dial.
Noticed some bottle caps have a good along with a whiz sound.

Good thing I broke down and sent the coil back for a replacement.

Can't wait to get out with it and see if I can plow thru some school yard trash.

Took it outside in the backyard to do a "quick" ground test.

Buried my 14kt wedding band at 8", picks it up 50-50 chance I would dig it unless I knew what to listen for.

Buried a Jefferson nickel at 9", you know its there in all three modes and would dig it.

Better target signal in boost mode, and or S over F, sensitivity 45- max.

that great news just received my new 5" solid round coil and and did some air tests with it and on my reale I can get 10" in boost and about 8" on non boost and about the same on a musket ball I'm hoping to try it on my old sites tomorrow and hopefully more old coins
