I'm pretty sure I'm going too wait and see but I like what I'm seeing looking too change brands for more user friendly. Getting older seems to have convinced me but not because of weight but user friendly and I think the vx9 is awesome!

I'm 70 and struggle with cell phones and computers. Garrett's have always been quite simple to operate and have rewarded me plenty. Below are most of the rings I have found, less the gold which were sold for their weight and stones.

I have a like new VX9 that I am going to sell, It has only been used for testing and one hunt. Coil cover installed and never removed, with box and update cable. $525 shipped in the US. I will update to 9.09 before shipping.
