General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

W.T.T. MXT for an M6

Hi everyone. I have an MXT that I'm looking to trade for an M6. My daughter is interested in getting into MD'ing w/me and I think the M6 would be a great machine for her. I don't want to miss this opportunity to share some quality time with her. The MXT is used and in good condition with some scratches/ scuffs and one small dent in the control box. (see top/center photo) The screen pod was always covered and is in great shape. It was sent into Whites last October and checked out fine. I have the invoice from Sweet Home OR. The machine runs perfectly and comes with the newer version stock 950 coil w/cover and standard AA battery pack. The coil bottom has some normal, minor scuffs. It has had the o-ring mod done to the knobs so they never get moved accidentally. The machine will come in the factory Whites box. In return I'd like to trade for an M6 in very good condition w/a 6x10 DD coil and a good pair of headphones. I also have an extra 12" (300mm) coil I will sell for some extra $ or trade for ? Thanks for the replies. Still considering deals. If you've been considering "moving up" (no disrespect to the M6 intended) to the MXT from the M6 here's a great chance. I'm really looking for a very good condition M6 with a 6x10 DD coil (second choice would be w/the 5.3 coil) and any other possible extras you may have for it (covers, etc.) I would be willing to trade straight across for this package. If you just have an M6 w/the stock coil I would be looking to get a little $ as well depending on condition, etc. (possibly you just pay for lowest cost shipping on both units, I'm in zip 95060) Thanks again for looking. HH
