Casey is going through with the divorce to Josh. Yesterday, the court had a hearing for child support and visitation rights. A prayer before the hearing with Casey, Sherry, Trish (our Pastor's wife) and myself set the path in the right direction. Unprepared as Casey was God's Holy Spirit spoke through her and made clear what would otherwise been confusion. Josh babbled like an idiot showing his true colors to the judge over the hearing and the judge was not lead astray by Josh's lies.
Casey got full custody of Leelan and Josh...well, he made comments that the child was not his by saying other people think the child is not his and then turned around and said "my son" several times.
God won the battle but the devil is not done. Awhile back, coincidently when Josh was served notice of the divorce, someone smashed the hood on Casey's car so the hood would not open and the headlight cover was broken as well as the front grill. Someone was able to fix the hood so it could be opened and the grill has been removed. The other night someone damaged a tire on her car so someone else had to replace the damaged tire with the spare 'donut' tire. She came home from work tonight and on the way home noticed another tire was flat. She drove all the way home on the flat tire as she was afraid to stop anywhere along the way, not knowing if someone was waiting for her to stop. The smell of burning rubber tells me the tire is no longer any good and needs to be replaced.
Sherry asked Casey if she thought Josh was capable of doing anything like that and her reply was that he could do that and a whole lot worse.
We need to pray for Casey and Leelan's protection and to put a hedge of protection around Casey, Leelan, and Casey's car (and probably our family van as well). I know we don't war against the flesh (other than our own thoughts) and so a physical retaliation against Josh is not what is needed...though (and I have to take my thoughts captive) I have thought of many scenarios of how to harm him back to teach him not to mess with her..or us. Vengence is not ours....
Rom 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Rom 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Rom 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Thank you and Thank you Father God, for we know you love us even before we loved You and that You will take care of us, your children and keep us from harm. Thank you, in Jesus' precious name. Amen.
Also, pray that I can restore the church's computer to a 'virus-free' condition. Somehow a virus got onto the church computer and made it unuseable for the church praise and worship service. The Pastor has asked me to see if I can remove the virus and restore the computer. Again, the devil has stepped up efforts to foil worship and praise to God. Please pray that God's Holy Spirit will be with me in ridding the computer of the evil that has been put into it. Thanks all...we know God is faithful...we know that no weapon formed against us (and against God's property) shall prosper...we know the fervent prayers of a righteous man availeth much..(and the prayers of many righteous men and women avails so much more). By faith, we call the prayers answered and thank God for answering the prayers for His glory in Jesus name.
