Walking the streets for money

Howdy,

It was too darn hot to be out hunting today. But I met up with another detectorist to try our luck (had none), and sweated it out. No joy hunting, and about boiled myself I think. Kept the fluids going, and I also kept going. I was getting skunked about everywhere, so I finally tried a little boulevard hunting along a block that looked promising. Finally managed to pull two Wheats, but it was a stretch to squeak these out even. I was dragging pretty good by then.

Think I'll wait until it cools off again!

I did the same today hunted next to curb and around outfield fence 1 wheat some clad ($1.20) really pitiful . on bright side the 4.5x7 worked great next too the outfield chain link fence. Craig

Tree lines are owned by the municipality but maintained by the home owner..I would get permission from the owner and be prepared for homeowners who maintain these areas..Certainly productive in older areas but again any problems with a home owner just move on as always the next tree line area and the next home owner....Can be productive and easy to hunt or frustrating
as some home owners object which is only natural.

Yep, agreed. Which is why I carefully chose some spots that did not have houses...
