WANT TO TRADE

Steve in Idaho

New member
I will trade one week in the snow, shovels included, for one week in a warm gold area so that I can hunt for gold with my X-70 without using a jack hammer to dig for a nugget. :detecting::minelab:

ABRACADABRA...................Steve go look out side...it should ne gone

Didn't work.........Damn! That dang witch sold me a used magic wand.............:nopity:

We are all in the same boat...so to speak. But I spell spring in the air:jump:

Well I hate to rub it in, but! Today was in the mid to upper 50's and will be in lower 60's tommorow. Oh well somebody's gotta hunt , Beale.

The ground hog saw it's shadow, so what's six more weeks of winter? I will just have to lay some more coins under newspaper on the floor and practice until spring.:beers: to ya

I was in Macon,GA. Saturday and it was about 60 degrees there,it must've been mid 50's in N.GA. where I live.Short sleeves yesterday and not one bit nippy.
I thought of moving up north, but my wife wont move to Tennessee.

Most of our winters are not as bad as this year. Most of the time I can get out and water hunt, but this year all of my water hunting spots are frozen over with ice. It takes to long with a chain saw to cut enough big holes to water hunt. We did do this one year and I think that people thought that we were crazy.

I moved from Driggs, Idaho to Arizona a little over two years ago. I have not looked back. It was very beautiful there, but 6 months of winter was just too much for my old bones. The summers here are hot as hell, but the worst of it is only 3 months. That leaves one heck of a lot of time for detecting and highbanking for gold, coins and relics.
I feel your pain !!!!
Best wishes, John K
