General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Hello and good day!!

My name is Dan, I'm from Butte, Montana and I have a friend who is in the market for a older Goldmaster like a V/Sat, GM2 and possibly a Gold Stinger.

He only has about 250 dollars to work with...(He's done a lot of odd jobs and shoveled a lot snow for this)( I'll help him with shipping if need be).

He's 16 years old and just starting out. He reads and reads and reads all the forums, subscribes to all the magazines, and believes the way to start out the art of gold detecting is to start out the old school way of manual ground balance before moving up.

He's in love with my Stinger but cannot afford one yet.

So there ya have it. If anyone has something like this laying around they are not using for a hardworking kid please reply.

Hey Dan, try the Goldmiser shop in Libby,Mt. They usually have a good selection of used gold detectors on hand.
 
Hello and thanks for the heads up. I had already called him as I'm originally from Libby. He took my number and said he would give me a call if anything showed up.

We've tried the majority of the pawnshops in Montana to no avail as of yet.

Still waiting for the link from Sport Pilot though so am hanging in there.

Well, Good News!!

I managed to get in on a Scorpion Gold Stinger on Ebay. Managed to pick it up for $311.18 plus 45 shipping (coming from Canada)

It comes with a bag..some books and a headset. I think I did OK. Cody owes me a 100 bucks though....lol. I figure he's good for it. And he has such a passion for this work of Art that it wouldn't hurt me to help the kid out financially a little bit.

I think I'll surprise him and wait till it gets here before he finds out.

I have to thank everyone who helped try to find this kid a detector!!!! (Sport Pilot!! You are the man!!)

Here is a link to someone possibly in Humbolt or nearby looking for a GMT. I called the gentleman but he'd rather not mail it. Would like to find someone local.
Heck of a deal though Goldmaster GMT and Keene Sluice
