General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

WANTED: Used Compadre in good working condition, will trade new (5 pin ( old style SS coil bolt) with lower shaft) Clean Sweep. Will include a Tesoro plastic coil bolt if new owner wishs to redrill it to convert it over.

Diggler,

I have a Tesoro Vaquero + a 5.75 for it. Plus I have a Tesoro Conquistador uMax which I will sell in the future after getting the Compadre.

I wanted a 2nd machine to compliment the Vaquero for tot lots with a small coil. (to get that small gold (chains & ear rings)

I feel putting a CS on the Compadre would be defeating that purpose.(being able to get closer to metal posts and such & working trashy areas)

Maybe after selling the Conquistador uMax I will get a (4 pin) CS for my Vaquero so I may have a full line of coils for it.

I think a 3" DD (CleanSweep) can get a lot closer to metal poles than a 5.75 inch concentric any day. When I think ultimate tot lot coil, I think CleanSweep. I am sure the 5.75 would win by a hair in which coil can pick up the smallest target. But I do mean by a hair. By the time you find that tiny earring back with the 5.75, you could have covered the whole tot lot with the CSC. Just received a backup CSC in the mail today. All that being said, if I get another uMax coil it will be the 5.75 concentric. If I get another uMax machine it will be the Compadre, with the CSC on the end of it of course. Good luck with the trade, I think it is very fair for both parties.

If your refuring to Diggler's post on putting a CS on a Compadre, yes its been done (some people have hardwired their own or had Tesoro do it for a small fee).

I'm not going to do that to my Compadre though, I want the small coil to hunt trashy areas.
