This is a must see. Check out the Finders site at: http://www.finders.com.au/Titan/Titan-5.htm Looks like Minelab and Finders are going to have their own little war!!!
 
Why would you patent a product that you are only going to make 100 of them? The whole thing sounds fishy.

I understand that if that did patent it then we could see how they actually put it together and the if we are good enough, make our own.

The way I read it is they are going to hand-build 100 units for field testing and debugging. After that phase is over, they will move on to full production.
 
Sell the patent rights to Minelab, should it work.
