Are all nickels made from the end of 1942-1945 have some silver in them? or just some.
 
All nickels from '43 - '45 have 35% silver. Some of the '42 nickels do have the silver content, some do not. I found one of the '42 regular composition nickels a year or two ago. Man, was I depressed!
