Warning! DO NOT BUY FROM TC METAL DETECTORS

I made a simple order of a couple of books from TC Metal Detectors.com, after 2 weeks I emailed Tony and inquired about my order and he said he was behind it should get mailed that week. I waited another week and emailed him again and he replied simply with "Its in the mail". It has been yet another week and I have not received my order. So I would advise my fellow metal THer's to stay away from this on-line scam.:garrett: They are the oldest metal detector dealership in Connecticut.

Sometimes things happen and maybe he left it for someone else to send out? Why not give him a call and ask him to explain

I know who you mean.... I am not impressed with his ethics on a different matter recently on a different Garrett Forum.

And yet another reason why I order only from Kellyco. All my ordered machines for 20 years have been through them and they have a 100% success rate (for me anyway). Their service just gets better and better, and prices are as competitive as anyone else I've researched. Sorry for your misfortune and it sounds like they've lost a potential repeat customer.

I contacted him 3 times and the last time he flat out lied to me. So, I learned, I warn my friends and I move on.You are right Confcave, it will be Kellyco and Garrett.com from here on out for me.:garrett:

Just so everyone knows I did not put that !@#% in place of his .com address, this forum did that! I typed in his actual site web address and when I clicked on post the address had been replaced with that censored garble stuff. I also notice that the site didn't garble Kellco.com or Garrett.com. I wonder whats up with that?:garrett:

i've read post from him on other forums and never did like his thinking, of course i always thought it was me. iv'e had very good service form kellyco and i did have some problems with them once but, that was me and not them. iv'e since learned. they are a few other good dealers also.

When I ordered my Garrett PP, I use metaldetector.com out of Massachusetts. The only reason I use them was save money on shipping vs. Kellyco. I got my PP on time and when they said I would get it. Good Service

Let's face it all companies have problems. My last 2 dealings with Kellyco was not professional. After 10 days I didn't get my order. I called and they said the order was on someones desk. I got it 4 days later. On another order I only waited 5 days before calling. They said they would send it overnight. Both times I paid with Paypal and they were paid within minutes. I think I got shorted on their price match plus 10% off deal. I found a machine advertised cheaper. It was like $5.00 - not much. I said "so you'll match that price and take 10% off?" He said no but would throw in a Gator digger if I paid the shipping. "NO thanks bud" Maybe I misunderstood the price match deal? I don't know anything about Tony but it sounds like there's a pattern there?

I know most of the people from Kellyco. They are a real good bunch. Be a name dropper. You tell them the deal you find elsewhere and they will beat it. Never had one problem. They also threw in extras and stood behind their warranties. I broke a gator digger and my automax pp. In a few days I had my new ones.

I don't doubt they have good service. But whoever takes the internet sales and paypal did drop the ball on me twice. This was about 2 years ago. Should they have matched the price plus 10% or an I reading their price match warranty wrong? I sent them a link showing the machine cheaper.
