last night we had one car coming up the hill towards our place and the storm dropped a tree on the car of 5 people...no injuries, lightning hit the swimming pool of the Holiday Inn...and its an INSIDE pool!. Had lightning hit a couple power poles, lighting them up like giant match heads. Our poor township fire depart was running in all directions. We had a few limbs come off the neighbor's tree and ripped a hole in our screen tent. Glas I have the police scanner. I should call it fire scanner since I rarely get police on it any more.
The storm came suddenly without notive - it was calm then suddenly 55 mile per hour winds.
Been weird today. Sun, rain, sun, rain, sun, rain, cloudy now.....and all this within the past hour and a half. Go figure.

Glad Pete that no one was seriously hurt! Sounds like a busy and frantic time! Storms come and go but with Jesus we have peace in the storm!
