Was at an old beach again last week; beach is severely eroded..found an old ( ?antique) ring...here's pics

This beach is down to "bare bones"..rocks all over the place where this past summer there was a comfortable sandy beach

I found this interesting ring about 5" down....must have been there for "eons".

Tried to find one on the net...and came up with a site that had the exact ring style and images , except that it was silver.

The ring that I found looks to have been at one time either gold /plated or /gold /washed or gold whatever ...or maybe not gold at all...I really can't figure out what the metal ( besides the obvious copper) content is.

I like this religious ring...too bad it wasn't in better contition ; next time.
