Wash day in the woods.:fisher:

Started right out this morning with a light long sleeve shirt over a t shirt and was very comfortable. Worked my way through some tougher woods this morning and ran into an apparent deep in the woods party spot. The bottles you see in the 2nd picture are just a small portion of all strewn around the area. Not to far away ran into a make shift cloths line with some cloth items hung up like they were drying???? The last picture is of some sort of a token issued by an insurance co. out of Des Moines Ia. It is soaking presently and has wording on both sides. I'll post it with some silver, jewelry and curio finds either tomorrow or Sat. We've had just gorgeous weather here this week. Makes one want to grab the ole detector and hunt. So, you northern guys, believe I'll do just that first thing in the morning. Hope you all know I am just toying with you. HH jim tn

:drinking:.............:nono:............. LOL

Great pics and write up! Theres a lot of campsites in the woods off of interstate exits in the southern states behind hotels and such...homeless type of deal..I've stumbled on a few myself, and perhaps may even become a resident of such someday...anyway, we got a foot of heart attack snow last night, real heavy wet stuff, Elton should be getting heavy rain at the moment, which may turn to snow or ice..keep us motivated with some great finds wouldja?

Yep nice hunt Jim!! Keep posting I am to busy watching it snow..:veryangry:...hh rick in mi.

A buddy and I also wandered near some homeless in a county park once. The one female started mumbling loudly in a creepy raspy voice, that we were taking their money....needless to say, we didn't acknowledge her and didn't stick around.
I've come across quite a few encampments in the woods. Some are old and abandoned, some are being used but no ones home. My awareness jumps up a couple notches..... a bit unnerving.

Yeah..me too SteveO...I like to walk around of an evening looking for snakes and whatnot when I travel, now I look for totlots! .heres what I'm dealing with today..
Mud:nopity:

What is that white fluffy stuff on the steps and trees ?

I got a little too warm yesterday detecting. I had to peel down to a t-shirt. It got up to around 60 degrees and hardly a breeze. Life is rough sometimes.:)

Jim, nice find.

Moved East to our friends in the blizzard path..

Tell'em mud, Us Yanks up north are gonna be putting it on those lucky rebs down south shortly..lol....Well I'm actually jealous when I see that Rajun Cajun coin hunter,,,him and his crew Diggin Deep South and that true gentleman Master Yoda on youtube wearing tee shirts out having fun detecting while were in lock down...lol...Hey Mud we should challange those rebs to a hunt, If we loose we will give them our snow shovels and if they lose Master Yoda has to give us his recipe for his famouse southern fried chicken ...lol....KCH.

Im pretty sure we'd be losing our snow shovels KCH! Not that it would be a bad thing! Thats a good idea though...get a group to meet at a random spot once a year for a shootout, sort of like an old time rondevous in the olden days, forecast looks like we'll be socked in for another week or two at the least, might need to employ that shovel a few more times as well...our Southern brothers just have to carry the load of inspiring this thread for another month I reckon.:clapping:
Mud

Yea mud, your snow is thick. Not much on the ground here in SE PA, might get out tomorrow...kinda mushy though, hafta stay on high ground.
