Depending on the set frequency, some users recommend setting notch anywhere from 93+ to 99 to eliminate iron wrap around.
That is fine if you are only hunting targets that fall within the standard TID range.
However high ID targets (like coins or silver) at fringe depths start to rise up to as high as 99 just before the ID can no longer be read.
So deep coins and silver will be notched out if you have notch set to eliminate iron wrap.
