Wateerproof connectors, again

I'm trying to settle on a coil connector for my projects. The one I like best is Tesoro's, but Vince informed me that it's a custom by Methode, who will sell them to me if Tesoro allows. Still waiting to hear back from them.
If that falls through, I'd like to go with a waterproof connector that is widely available. Switchcraft has a line of waterproof connectors and are carried by DigiKey & Mouser, so I'm leaning toward that one. I also considered ones carried by Ikelite, but they're $15 each instead of $4.
Anyone have any suggestions? Perhaps marine power connectors?

Mouser just started carrying them, catalog 610, page 195. 3-pins is the minimum, $3.24 for the bulkhead connector, $2.64 for the cable connector, in quantities of 10. I have a 4-pin sample, pins are a little on the skinny side but otherwise it looks pretty good.

Hello Carl,
Those connectors are weatherproof , NOT waterproof, is the reason of this low price ...Ok.

I have always liked the Ikelite connectors myself. Like Mr. Bill mentioned they are built like tanks and hold up extremely well. I have some that have been in service for over 15 years and have never leaked!!!! They are worth the extra money. I have recently be experineting wiht some of the other brands currently available like the Switchcraft ones that you mentioned. I am also trying the ones that are made by Lumberg. I would also like to try the Bulgin Bucaneer Mini-Series (the Mini-Series is numerically the 400 Series)which I have finally found an outlet for here in the States. That distributor is Newark Electronics. THe Switchcraft seem kind of flimsy but I am impressed with the built-in "live" rubber seals. They are very impressive and seal extremely well. I can't say as much for the rest of the connector. Although I have not actually held one of the Bucaneer connectors in my hand based on the specs and the information available on Bulgin's website they should be a very good connector. They are also only a little higher priced than the Switchcraft connectors. I'll put in a link below to Bulgin's Website. Also the Lumberg connectors are very well made but are in the price range of the Ikelite connectors.
Hope this helps!!!
