Water Hunt Today

I got in a nice water hunt today. It was a bit cold with frost on the ground when I headed out but the colours of the leaves and a bright sunny day made it fun to be out. There was a strong wind but lots of targets kept me busy so I didn't notice the chill, I was too busy..

Got a good amount of coins and lots of rings today, including one 925 silver and two 10k rings. Also got a 1968 silver quarter, the last year we had silver coins and the only year they were just 50% silver. But...I'll take it! :)

Here's the loot for the day, the Tiger Shark did me proud.

Scott,
Nice hunt. Hopefully people step up and give this guy an atta boy. Looks like braving the freezing cold water paid off. 2 golds and essentially two silvers in one hunt with the quarter. The other rings look great as well. Sometimes even when they don't glint gold or silver I am just happy to find a ring for the day on some hunts. Your pile of clad was quite nice as well. It almost makes me want to get a water machine. I don't have a lot of places to use one though. What machine were you using? Thanks for sharing the pics and the story. I work retail and a while ago I found a 1968 Canadian silver quarter in the drawer at work. I would not have known it was silver if it was not for the site coinflation. I had read up on this site about different coins and when I saw the date, then I recognized it looked different than the other Canadian quarters. It pays to do your homework i guess. You did well. Congrats on a great hunt and don't freeze. HH

Sorry did not notice you said tiger shark when I said what machine were you using.

Good job, Your story makes me happy I live in Florida !!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the Gold and Silver!! You also found a bunch of clad! All this and frost on the ground! I am impressed, good hunting, Beale.

A good hunt Scott!

I'm still a good bit warmer air temp than you, but it is time to start bringing out the waders and not too long until the full length gauntlets come out too.
Cheers,
tvr
