Water hunting fun

Got back to the lake where I had found the 10k wedding band a couple of weeks ago. I had noticed that the water level was down from the previous time I had been there. Evidently at this beach, to the left of the dock is more of a fishing area than swimming, while to the right of the dock it is mostly a swimming area. Almost all of todays finds came from the fishing side, I’m sure they do some swimming on that side too based on what I found.

Two rings, both 925, one of the rings has some black hills gold (maybe). Hallmark says 925 CCO. 925 bracelet is marked 925 on both ends of the clasps. Tungsten carbide ring says ,“Forever your pie”. A little over $4.00 in clad.

NICE! I'm mainly a dirt fisher... but have done a little water hunting. I hope to do more water hunting, especially during those hot summer days. Again NICE... and may you have continued success!

Thanks Knsmokey, water hunting is a nice change of pace from land hunting for me. I think there is less competition (in general) when hunting water so the potential is there for some great finds.

We have a few old swimming holes around here but for those of us who cant swim or prefer to stay out of anything over your knees……
My loss can be your gain!!!!! Nice recoveries!

Hey, thanks Ronstar, maybe one of those old swimming holes will produce a few nice finds, you got me interested. One of the reasons that I started the water hunting is that it extends the season for me. Hard to dig when the ground is snow covered and frozen, that’s when I put on the waders and hit the lakes.
