I haven't been posting on here for a while as I'm trying to cut my net time down it seems to take over your life if your not carefull  so hopefully I'll better organise my net time better & make a few more posts of my finds,
Had a big day out in the water on Sunday I'd decided to hunt till i hit gold but that was not to be :sadwalk: the bay was as flat as a mill pond which made hunting easy & the targets came out at a regular rate :), the highlights were a silver 1917 florin, a silver 1921 threepence, a few Penny's ranging from 1890s to the 1950s, two 925 silver rings & my first bit of found 800 silver - a saint medallion (I'm unsure which one), some interesting sea glass & a sea marble.
the coin count was good at $20 something, maybe I'll get some gold outta the sea next time out :).

I picked this up earlier in the week. Some really nice older silver and the seaglass is really nice too.

Very Nice Hunt,

BDA:cool:

PS: I'm really looking forward to hunting some kiwi beaches when I am in New Zealand on our round the world trip.

BDA were abouts in NZ are ya going ? i lived over there for quite a few years & I'd say the beaches/water should be loaded as there's very few hunters  but be prepared for some cold water  I'm planning to go back over at some stage as my mum is still there & i wont be forgetting my detecting gear ether :detecting:.
thanks for the saint ID .
