California has some strange weather at times. We went from above average temps last week to below average temps this week. No wonder everybody around here is getting to be under the weather. I am excited though, we actually have a chance for some snow. I know alot of you are like, " big deal" but for here it is extremely rare. So rare that when it does snow people, including myself, will just run out and stand in it as it comes down.It never sticks by the way, just falls and melts soon as it hits the ground. the weather change is from 50 something last week ( i think) down to 20's this week. Being part Inuit ( eskimo) you would think the colder weather wouldnt bother me. to that I say, HA, I freeze when its cold out so I guess I will be retiring my MD for a while longer. Tonight a cool -12 F, warming to -2 F Monday, -14 F Monday night, Tuesday +3 F, Tuesday night -13 F, Wednesday a heat wave +10 F, cooling off for the weekend to -10's again. All temperatures must be adjusted for wind chills of up to 29 MPH.

Missouri goes up and down and fulfills the saying, If you don't like the weaher just wait awhile and it'll change and it sure does! Some days are very windy, the nights are cold in the 20's or lower and the days are in the 20's, 30's, 40's and sometimes in the 50's but not for very long! The winds makes it feel much colder! W'eve had more rainy and cloudy days than sunny and had ice on the roads in places, especially the ramps and bridges with salt spread all over the place! :sad: Dobbie, I am sure you will be MD'ing sooner or later, so be patient and get out when you can and find something special! Well Mo weather has gone into the teens and with the wind chill factor it feels like ZERO! We had rain Sunday night which froze a light covering of ice on everything and then it sleeted some on top of the ice and now we have a light covering of the cold white flakes on top of the ice and sleet! But more is coming and so far we haven't had a lot of whiteness but it'll come plus the colder weather! Just read that the cold has spread all over the US! Soooo, ya just might get your wish and get to make angels in the soft, white stuff! God Bless! Betty
