Wednesday is the day my Deus will be here, will I be ready??

I am hoping it will be what i expect, I been reading a lot about this detector and not much negative like we see with many other detectors when they first come out. Maybe because of the cost no one don't want to admit they made a mistake, or it is so good no one has a complaint as it is what everyone expected, so I just had to see for myself if it will work for me.
I am also hoping that Andy Sabisch will write a book on this detector like he has for many others as they are great and very help full and like his field test there is no BS and one of the only field testers I pay attention to.
I figure I will start with the basic one program and may do some changing once I understand it a bit, so I will be asking for tips as i go.

You will be awe struck. Nothing will prepare you when you open the box.

What proved the detector for me was a hunt in a small area (honey hole) that I have hit heavily and many times with my old detector because of the value targets it has given. There is a 10 foot by 20 foot section that is full of iron, every 4 or 5 inches apart that I have personally hit from every direction with my old detector. It hit it with the Dues and found 8 good finds in 15 minutes. If you know of a place like this to test it, give it a try, you may be amazed at what you find. I have also dug good targets with iron in the same hole, a first for me. NOTE, Go hit a park first to learn the machine.

few UK owners sell theirs so what does that tell you ...

Guys, I live in Tennessee, Land Of the Funky Mineralized Dirt, and the machine has easliy detected every target in my test garden, a feat that has not been accomplished by the last few top end units. Even those with boost mode. On the deeper targets, there will be no TDI number, but when a tone is high, it gets dug regardless. I then took it to a hard hit site that I THOUGHT that I had emptied. It was a CW campsite that is about the size of a tent and the area around it. About 10' x 10'. I had cleaned that sucker out. But the Deus comes along and spots three more good targets. Make sure you learn how to ground balance, because when I first hit my test garden, I didn't know how to ground balance and performance was stunted and my heart sank. I grabbed the manual, learned how to GB, and VOILA! .....the performance was there. I use the second factory program. Number two. I also used the third program a little, Dues Fast. It even hit every target in my test garden and it is set up to be fast. I am loving this machine. The other attributes are awesome as well. Nice lite headphones that don't make your head sweat. Very light weight overall. Easy to swing. The tones are not fatiguing to the ear. I think that I have finally found the unit for me. I will stick with factory programs for a while as I think that the engineers know more about setting it up than I do. I will learn as I go. You will be happy. The only thing is: you got to charge it up as soon as ya unbox it. It had some charge in it, and I may could have used it then, but I figured that I would start with a full charge. Hope this helps.

I have never uploaded a video before and plus I don't have a camera except for the one on my phone. Camera is next up to be purchased. That....and a crash course in uploading on youtube, and how to keep it private so that only forum folks can see it and not the whole world.
