Summer arriving here in my part of Texas and I am out looking for Indian/Cavalry camps. Had the XP a couple months and not sure I'm willing to trust my own "settings" yet. I run Calabash relic program or Deus Fast with full tones. We go pretty quick and cover lots of ground as these camps usually contain quite a few cans and large objects that are easy to hit. Once found, we slow quite a bit.
My dilemma now is all the popping and cracking the XP does on every grass tuft or weed I touch- and there are LOTS. It really slows me down from my usual pace I ran with the AT Pro. Having to double check something on every swing is really getting cumbersome and I'm afraid after a couple hours I may be ignoring real signals.
Does anyone know if there's a good "sweep" program? Or what would you pros do? Or what settings would you start tweaking to balance speed and cover ?
