Well I got back to the colonial site dug about five buttons and a number one crotal bell, I hoping for a coin or two but it didn't happen, Do you run the BP mode and high sensitvity and what about discrimination levels? Thanks for your input its appreciated, Ezra.

Ezra....my basic approach is BP always, disc as low as your brain fatigue can handle and the same for sensitivity. Trashy sites I run the disc at 6 usually. Sensitivity wise I like to run it fairly quiet, I don't mind if it chatters a bit when I lay it down but I like to have it fairly quiet when I'm swinging.
If you read enough forums you'll find out that most of the original LTD owners will tell you not to be afraid to turn the sensitivity down as low as necessary to make her run stable, there is not a great loss of depth.

Good Luck and congrats on the buttons!!

Dave

I run in B P mode all the time and sen of around 85, which is just before the internal hum starts. I run 0 -4 disc and the only time I go higher is if I run into a severe emi situation, which is seldom with the LTD. In my ground this is usually a quiet run. HH jim tn

I run DE mode, descrim mode till I hit a deepie. Then I go to boost to check it out. Unless Its really clean ground or no emi then I run boost mode and 6 descrim.
