Weekend relics. Flying eagle cent bonus

Digger70pa

I got out this weekend & did some relic hunting. I dug a flying eagle cent today. A nice bonus. Thanks for looking & HH

You got a great hunt spot. :clapping:

I live in a good area for civil war relic hunting buddy. I hunt Gettysburg campaign mostly. Big camps before & after the battle. I've been lucky to find some of them. They've all been hunted before. The farmers said so. But most havnt been for over 10 years. The Confederate camps are really worked over. The Union are still good. I guess the yanky relics aren't as good. I'll dig them though. HH

Well done... never found a flying eagle yet myself... congrats. .
I've only found them in Union civil war camp friend. Those & fatty Indians. I havnt found many silver coins though. A couple Spanish 1/2 reals & a seated quarter. Thanks for looking. HH

Nice haul. It's a shame the "centc" are so deteriorated when dug. Still, any period coin is fun to dig.

Thanks for sharing,

jimyk in Missouri

Yes nitrogen is bad on copper coins. Cow manure. HH
