Was out practicing in my backyard, found this:

It must have belong to my Mother, she was a 27 years NASA veteran, bet she lost if back in the late 80's when they first bought the house I now live in, she was probably out back working in her greenhouse. She passed in October of last year and we sorely miss her wit, humor, and glorious outlook.
It was about 3 inches down and my pinpointer from Harbor Freight pointed it right out. Here is a shot of the back, it is an official NASA pin, too bad its missing the spike off of the back.

Happy Hunting!!!

Wow. What a fabulous find.

Cool. Nice memory of your Mom. That is a real treasure.

Very nice find you have there. The nice thing about this find is that you personally know who it belonged to. Sadly enough though, that person has passed and can't experience the joy that you must have had when you found it. I hope your find brings back some wonderful memories for you.

Great find, sorry for your loss.
