With being a month of colds, being busy around the house, and work
getting out wasn't the best, but here it is for October. Been pounding the heck out of the
soccer field.
I saw in the post we have another 305 user. Soon we'll be taking over ! Hahahahaha

You and the 305 are getting along well . Keep it up.

The Ace 250 is one good machine. It's great on nickels, and it goes deep with the right coil on.
When using the 4 1/2" sniper coil you can get right next to pipes and fences.
The Excelerator 10" x 14" coil is a great for open fields that Kellyco puts out.
But its not the Xterra 305, and I doubt if I'll sell it.
Pin pointing is a little different, but you do get use to it.
So far this year I've been devoting time learning the 305.
No matter what detector you use you have to spend time with it, and
I won't bash any detector.

Thanks Bruce,I know they are both excellent machines.I have had my 705 for 8 months now,and one thing I have learnt is to dig everthing that shows up as being deep.
This is a great hobby and I cant get enough of it.not a day goes by that I dont learn alittle more, plus all the great tips off this site sure do help....HH
