was right, they do have more bars and service 100 times the area that Ma bell does.
AT&T's cell Internet service just flat out sucks and I will never deal with them again, granted I don't use it much but I like to check in on the forum while at work during break or on the road and I was lucky to hook up 10% of the time, enough of that crap already.
When I went into Verizon to ask questions the sales guy says right off the bat, you won't be able to use your AT&T Blackberry, I said, huh!
He said, you don't have a phone that will pick up a G3 Verizon network, I said whys that's, this is a top of the line phone and cost me big bucks almost two years ago, he said what AT&T didn't tell you was that they really don't have many area's covered for G3, just Edge, that means if your on the Edge of the service area you get no Internet service, just a error message, I said
I said why can't I use this Blackberry for Verizon, it's a new phone, not even two years old and it cost big bucks, he said see the name at the bottom of your Blackberry, I said yea it says AT&T, well he said Blackberry made that phone for just AT&T's wireless networks, Edge, I said huh again
I said why can't I access the Internet through my Blackberry here in Alabama, I can sometimes but not often, I could on the east coast and great north, he said because AT&T doesn't have the G3 networks like they claim, we do because we caught them napping
So I made him pull up Findmall.com on his cell phone and guess what, 5 bars and the forum loaded right up, that's all I needed to see
I said I will call AT&T Monday morning and tell them, see ya later pin heads but he said you don't need to do that Ray, we will take care of that from here
Since my old AT&T Blackberry phone won't work on Verizon but only a AT&T I HAD TO BUY A NEW PHONE, I told the guy I like my old phone, he said, Ray, we will work with you just to get your service, we will sale you the newest Blackberry Tour which coat $300 for $100, I said I can live with that
Now I can check in on you guys during the week at work because I headed right to the mill and parked and checked out the service, 5 bars not to mention I can cancel in 30 days if the service is not there and I really like that
