..it turns out that White's Coinmaster2000/D I had given to me only had the connector for the battery terminals a little deformed;allowing the connector to wiggle around on the battery,and turn itself off.I called a White's repair center this morning before I fixed it-They said its a $58.00 service fee for postage and checkin it out;plus parts.:shocked:It works pretty good for a mid-80's detector;only takes 1-9 volt battery(cheap!!);AND now I have a 3rd detector to let the kids try out at my detecting program a week from tomorrow at church.Call ya tomorrow;Pete!!
