tomorrow weather permitting . I used it last week couple of hours.I must say the Boost mode is no joke if you think its a gimmick to sell detectors you're wrong. I thought the same thing . I was reluctant to try one but I did ( Thanks Richard @ Backwoods!!) the boost mode is something to behold it will make a barely audible target in normal mode( like a button 10 inches deep) sound like its on top of the ground!!
as far as the other functions like disc and EMI its about the same as a stock unit even in the boost mode. but the boost is unreal.I'm sure they will incorporate this into there newer machines.
If you have one and want to do a quick comparison heres something I learned wherever your at in the menu screen when hunting in BP or CL just hold down the menu button while checking a target and it will put it in 2+ normal mode easy way to check performance difference
! just hold it down once you release it your back in the BP mode or CL mode!
I will post after my hunt if the weather allows its raining here in Ga.
