Like I said, it was a great day to be out detecting today so I took Ray to one of my "hunted out" areas.
Ray liked the stream that ran by the place I parked the truck and here is a pic I snapped of him

Now as you probably noticed its still hunting season but we were wearing our orange and I didn't see any evidence of anyone hunting anywhere remotely close by us.
We worked our way through the woods and picked up a few wheaties as usual. Ray ended the day with 5 and I had 12
I finally got a weird sound and it jumped around and had that silver sound but it registered as a penny so I dug it
It was only about 2 inches down when I pulled the plug and thats when out of no where I got busted
Here's the silver in the hole
Looks like a very worn Merc

I hollered for Bean and got him to take my picture (NO PHOTOSHOPS PLEASE)

As I said I got busted and here's the proof
A 1835 Half-Dime

This is my oldest coin I've ever found and I have to say its a Good Un in pretty nice shape
Like I said it was a good day and ended up as a Great day
Thanks for lookin' Ya'll
