WELL,its official-I got served last night...................at least my migraine headache is(was)gone............

NOPE,NOT supper-divorce papers..............GOOD NEWS IS at least she filed in the county where I now reside.SO:This morning;I hired my OWN attorney-My first meeting is with him this Monday,10:00AM..........I told him this morning "You do whatever you have to do,I know when she gets HER papers in the mail,its gonna get ugly,so you might as well go all the way"........I have to tell y'all,when I got them papers last night;the FIRST THING I thought of was what my wife said,not too long ago:"Divorce is not an issue with us,we can work anything out".................That was fine and dandy,until THIS part of us(ME!!!) could not work at all because of back problems that were not self inflicted,resulting in me being abandoned by her-AND her parents-like an old dog nobody wants anymore.OK,THEN-Let the battle begin......................................PS:The divorce papers states she wants ME to pay 1/2 of her attorney fees.NICE of her-SHE abandons me,and wants me to pay half of her lawyer fees to make it legal???I told my lawyer"WONT HAPPEN".......................

Good for you, Steve, stand up for your rights! I know what the feeling is of getting divorce papers delivered! When mine were delivered to me from my ex right before my birthday...I started crying and the man who delivered them said, I am so sorry....I knew he didn't want to do that to me but it was his duty! Since you aren't working or getting any income right now, she most likely will be the one who will have to pay for most of the divorce costs for both sides! I am praying for both of you that God will still work it out to keep your marriage going, but if not, just know He has a better plan for you and although it is hurtful to be rejected right now, He will see you through and by keeping faith in Jesus, all things will work together for your good and for God's purpose! I think there is more to her wanting a divorce than your not being able to work.....just keep your eyes and ears open to what she does and what she says, but keep the peace if you can! May God Bless!
