Well, my Freedom III had company today....

:rofl:Took the Silver umax out for ONE of my tot lots because it has equipment so close together (playground equipment, that is) and it has the 4" coil on it. It found the quarters and dime on the lower right. The Freedom III found the rest-a copper ring, some of the tiniest charms, quite a few pencil ferrules:veryangry:, the zipper pulls, and the coins. I'm gonna keep all my zipper pulls, put those little slip on rings in one end, place a treble hook in it and use it for a fishing lure:biggrin: Hey, I try to use everything I can think of to make these finds valuable!
 
Geez. Forgot the pocket knife I found with the Freedom III, so I rearranged the pic a little. Sorry for the blooper.

Sorry for the delay, Rick. I've got a mystery on my hands. I put him with my other finds and haven't been able to find him=yet. Best I remember it was a soldier with a rifle and seemed to be made out of something like stainless steel. Now that I think of it the belltone rang so could be silver or some high conductivity metal.

It's the Freedom III Coin Commander. The guy I bought if from sold it to me to get the newer CDC. I think the thing that makes this detector is the 7" groundhog coil-I wish there was one for the Ace.

NOT TO GET TOO FAR OFF THE SUBJECT, BUT I WAS CURIOUS ABOUT SOMETHING YOU SAID ABOUT YOUR FREEDOM 3. I HAVE A 7" GROUNDHOG COIL, BUT THE CONNECTOR IS DIFFERENT ON MY GARRETT FREEDOM 2+. DID YOU CHANGE THE THE CONNECTOR.?
