I was able finally to get out for approx. 4 hrs. today before the rain came again! Supposed to rain tomorrow and through the weekend. The ground is saturated already, so will be swamp & mud out there for sure. Guess kids will be back in school by the time I am able to go detecting again. I did feel better this morning, but sure feeling it tonight in my arms & legs.
Nothing much accept muddy coins and one small lock. My coin count was almost equal, as I found 14-Quarters, 21-Dimes, 13-Nickels & 17 Pennies for a total of 65 Coins in the amt of $6.42. I dug lots of silver & gold foil, pcs of alum cans, pulltabs, wads of alum & etc but still no rings or jewelry. Hunted an elementary school I hadn't been to for a year or more. Playground had been hunted already, so the early bird got the worm!
I had several small children following me around & then they started burying a small alum screw type thingy & then would have me find it, but they would show me where they buried it. <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D"> <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">

sure got a bunch of coins ! You are in among the gold/silver stuff. It just wasn't there. I have had kids do that too.

At least you can get out <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> Snow / sleet yesterday. Just a cold and damp day. I sure do hope it warms up soon. The only place I can hunt right now is the beach and pickin's be a little slim there <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

it's not supposed to rain but a few isolated showers so I just may go to a junior high school that I intended to detect yesterday, but took the wrong road! My car isn't running good at all, so don't know how long I can keep going with it! Need it repaired like it should be or a new or newer one, so pray that God will work a miracle in this problem....as my finances are very slim and really don't want to go into debt any farther. A Christian shouldn't be in debt and should pay all their bills which I try to do!
