I know it will be hard on me to live with higher expenses still going on and not getting a raise in my small monthly SS for two years! But with God's help He will still see me through more rough times, just like He has in the rough and trying times in my past! Trials come and go, but Jesus never leaves nor fails us! And all those changes BO is trying his best to put in place for taking tax monies and giving it to those who haven't paid into SS or paid taxes like we have done or will be doing! His changes will be very expensive and the money will come from us and the middle class taxpayers, who have paid through the nose through the years and will continue to do so!
Also they want to increase their salaries and benefits even more than they already have and live higher off the HOG, so to speak, and taking away guns from the citizens is another way of enslaving us to their will of Gov't rules!

Lots of talk on the News today about it.

I'm not surprised at all and to be honest I am already burned out complaining about all the nonsense that's been going on in Washington in only these few months of this administration. I have always been very politically informed and active, but .............. in the last few months I am literally shocked and speechless at what I am seeing and hearing. I have written more representatives and made more phone calls this year regarding insane legislation, than in all my prior 30 years put together. I must admit I am becoming tired and dismayed at trying to prevent what appears to be an unstoppable train wreck, and it greatly saddens me to watch this great nation spiral down at the hands of people only concerned with power and money. I weep for all those in the past who shed their blood and gave their lives just so we could become what it appears we are becoming.

I believe GOD is about to totally turn his back on this country if we don't straighten up, .... and real soon.

We have come this far and achieved this greatness, not by our own accord, but by the wonderful Grace and untold Blessings of Almighty GOD. He blessed us because we founded our country on him and his principles. Now suddenly we are rapidly turning away from him, our own president even stating to the world, ".....we are not a Christian country". We will pay the price for this disobedience, and it is going to be severe. Pray for our country daily everyone, it seems to be all that is left that we can do.

Mad jak, just to let you know the Christians have been the ones who have given to Charities to help take care of the poor and those who can't afford medical, food and clothes for themselves. I have paid for my daughter to have medical care when neither of us had insurance at the time. My doctor cut my bill in half until I had Medicare and this is not free! It is taken out of our monthly payments which we (as workers) paid in for years and years to be able to have SS & Medicare! What do you live on per month??? I live on $602 per month plus an IRA which I paid into and have to draw money out of to pay my living expenses and not anything extra! The poor and those who need help do get help and their hospital and medicine bills are paid for by either the hospitals or through donations to help them!

You sound just like a left-wing liberal with hatred in your heart and we, who need SS to live on, do need to keep up with the increases in food, household expenses and bills and etc. We will be paying more for Medicare but will get less in our monthly payments! Also, the lower and middle class taxpayers will be paying lots more in taxes just like we've always done! A lie by BO that the wealthiest will only pay taxes! :angry:

Now, let me know what your income amount is and if you've lived on $600.00, $300.00 or less than I will understand more of what you are trying to say and as far as the NRA lining them up and using bullets....BO will do that for less than what bullets cost.....by limiting the health care for the handicap, the elderly and others who are invalid and incapacitated and by euthenasia! It's in the Big 1000 page Obama Health Plan soooo read it, as most of the Reps and Senators haven't! I don't think BO even knows what all is in it! He tells so many lies that I don't think he knows what is the truth!

I am one of those 40 million you speak of who does not have health insurance. I would love to see the US Government buy Health Insurance for all it's people who can't afford it, rather than give millions/billions to other countries, ............ but, ............. I also have the common sense to see this current Government take over of the whole health care system is nothing but simple socialism and doomed to fail.

The current health care system is definitely broken and needs change, .................... the current fix is not the answer.
