She's a real, all original ('cept for the tires and rims) 1955 chevy truck. I can understand the questions about the history of the vehicle but the person Ed bought it from is a collector and bought it from the last owner and parked it in a barn here in Waynesville, N.C. over 20 years ago. This truck hasn't been in direct sunlight in over 20 years. I've got lots of pics and she's chained on a trailer ready for the trip back to Fla. We'll leave around 5 a.m. Sat. morn and head back south. It has been painted once before and has some very light surface rust but over all it's fairly free of body rot. The under-carriage has a coating of light rust but a good sand-blasting and paint or undercoating will all it'll need. Of course it hasn't been cranked in 20 years so all of the fluids need to be changed, seals changed, gas and lines changed, radiator flushed etc. brakes overhauled and tranny fluid changed but I really don't think it'll take much to get her running again. The truck has an extensive history on it so it's fairly certain that the mileage is under under 100 grand.
All for now.
