Went Claddin' Today:

Larry and I thought we better get out today since it's to be storming and raining the next few days. We didn't know where to go and ended up at the school yard. We didn't do too bad. We were there about an hour and he brought home a bit over $5 and I was .11 short of $5...we were neck and neck. I also found the little round silver with pearl instrument button. I was headed to the truck and my last target was the gold-sterling jade ring. Larry cleaned it for me and it still looks pretty rough. Even though it's not gold (just plated), I think it's a cool find. The temperature gauge in the truck read 87. :surprised: Yep, that's Illinois weather for ya. Thanks for looking and here's pictures of my finds. HH to all, Nancy

Nice ring :clapping: And a fine bunch of coins, great job Nancy:thumbup:

Love the ring Nancy, and the coins. Looks like you guys had a great day.

I stopped at a sports field on the way home from the dentist. I'm glad I had a bottle of water in the car. Those kids must have holes in their pockets where you live. Your ring is not gold but that is still a nice ring. I found this Swarovski bracelet along with $3.50 in clad. It's just plated but for a while it was still a thrill.

It's really raining here today and I know it's got to be raining where you are. HH Rob

We did get the rain, but wasn't much and wasn't any bad storms. South of us got the worst of it.

You did good also with the sports fields. I love working them and I agree about the kids having holes in their pockets. Really I think that they don't care if they loose their parents money. So sad these days, but good for all of us. If I would have lost money that my parents gave me I wouldn't have gotten any more. Guess it's how you're raised. Can't be the kids these days!!!!
HH to all, Nancy

You wouldn't believe how fast I can extract coins out of the ground with those nails! Specially when we would be at a seeded coin hunt. OH YES!!! Don't need a digger at all. HH to all, Nancy
