Went detecting in the rain today and found a few Goodies!

Decided to go out and do some detecting in the rain today and managed a few keepers. You should have seen my Explorer after the outing, it was covered in mud and so was I. Anyways, I raked in 7 more Silver today. It included a 1941-s Walking Liberty Half Dollar,a no-date Standing Liberty Quarter,1938 Washington Quarter,1947 Washington Quarter,an 1897 Barber Dime,1916 Barber Dime, and a 1946-d Roosevelt Dime. I also found a nice little Sterling Silver Ring. Along with the finds I also found 3 Indian Head Pennies dated 1903,1907,and 1907. And lastly I found a few more Wheat Pennies dated 1911,1914,1916,1918,(3)1919,1919-d,1928-d,1936,1941-d,1942-d,1944-d,1948-d,1951-d,and 1953-d. The Indians and Wheats are combined in the pic below. Also, when I got out and was detecting today, I had a feeling I was going to find a Half Dollar and look what happened. Just another Sixth Sense that came true today I guess, right Rick(ND)![attachment 25692 Silver.png][attachment 25693 SterlingRing.png][attachment 25694 IndiansandWheats.png]

Looks like you are on a roll just like Tim is. This is your second half this year already, so that is not too bad. I was out 3 times this week and didn't even get a new coin, maybe I should turn the detector on, right:surrender:
Maybe this next week I will get serious as I just got the OK to do a late 1800 site that is not far from me.

Rick

Thanks Mike! I hope to get out maybe yet today after I help a friend move this morning and if I do I will post what I find.

Thanks MrChile! I just wish I could find some of what you are finding. Way too much trash to attempt something like that though.

You said it Jack! I hope it isn't hard to get all the mud off of the detector but I think it is going to be another big mess in itself. Thanks for the reply and hope you keep your finds coming in.

That is what it takes Rick. You just have to get onto new farmsteads or what have you and you will do just fine. I hope you get some decent finds when you detect that new spot of yours and maybe I will stop in during the week and say hi. Good Luck Rick and HH.

Thanks BuckRod! It sure was a muddy mess after we were done and it took me 1/2 hour just to clean my coat this morning. But it was well worth it.
