[attachment 119372 RobertsParkfinds3-3-2009002.jpg]After returning from Joans doctor visit, we decided to go out to the city park and do some digging. I took the whole day off, so why not enjoy it.
Ground was still a little frozen, with it around 34 degrees today, but once you broke through, it was not so bad. Searched a tot lot there first, but not much there. Moved over to an old hickory tree nearby. Found some stuff there. Most was junk metal, but did find 7 lincolns--a 1998D, 2006, 2006D, 1983, 2005, 1990, 2007. Found an older drill bit and a few connectors, and bolts. Only searched a small area, and if the weather warms up like it is supposed to, will try and go out later in the week.

That is what it is all about! The oldies will come later! Glad you guys got out.

Glad DK that you and Joan were able to get out and do some :twodetecting: today and when the weather is warmer and the ground soft with moisture, you both will be finding more goodies! Hope Joan is doing okay with a good report from the dr! :) God Bless! Betty
